Let's get one thing straight from the beginning - The Below Average White Band is anything but Below Average. Why did we call ourselves that then? It's actually from the ancient Latin and Greek texts meaning "ain't no one standing still up in this bitch". Well, no, not really. We just thought it was funny cuz we're a mirthful bunch of folks. Did we just say mirthful? Yes. A Below Average White Band show is really just an excuse to get away from your family and get drunk with your friends. And you can also expect the best in rock, blues, soul and funk. You don't need like, a secret password or anything to get in to a show, just show up and say you're there to see the BAWB. If you want to really impress a date, just mention one of our names and watch the wheels start turning. You can also gain immediate admittance if you show up with one supermodel (or two catalog models) and prepared for a mirthful time. Did we say mirthful again? Yes. Yes we did. We're also actively soliciting applications for BAWB groupies. You don't even need to bring gifts for the band - why, because the BAWB is not a commercial venture; we're in it for the love of music. That, and because we're not getting you anything. We want to keep this a non-commercial, mirthful experience. Why do we keep saying mirthful? Because it's a funny word. Mirthful. To be a certified BAWB groupie, all you have to do is come to a show, make alot of noise and let the warm nuturing love of liquor contribute to a bonding experience with the band.
