Chris is one of the founding members of the Below Average White Band. Former vocalist of Katrina and the Klams, Chris studied vocals with some of the great singers of all time including Phil Sinatra (Frank's second cousin, thrice removed). One night while drinking heavily, she came upon the idea of starting a rock and blues band since there were no such other bands around in New York City (at the time she didn't get out much). She stumbled upon over an ancient keyboard player and while he was casting her broken leg, he told her about a tremor ridden drumer and their friendly neighborhood sidekick bass player. After she was able to walk again, she got them together to form the BAWB and the rest is history!

Chris encourages young, single men to bring jewelry, expensive perfume and other tokens of their affection to show their appreciation for her performances.
